Casino operator segment context

The eight consumer discretionary casino operator stocks tracked by the Yahoo Finance UK roundup reported a mixed second quarter. As a group, revenues beat analysts' consensus estimates by 0.8 per cent. Share prices across the group had fallen by an average of 1.8 per cent since the latest earnings results, according to the roundup.
